Mock CPA Timeline for Seniors graduating in June
Speak with your college to expedite your transcripts. You can start ordering your study materials. Graduate in June!
April-June
UCSD should be done processing your transcript towards the end of the month. Request REGISTRAR to send it to the CBA. Submit CBA application once UCSD has notified you they sent your transcripts. From there it can take up to 8 weeks to approve you to sit for an exam. Certain Tax positions start in July.
July
August
Study for FAR (4-6 weeks)
September
Towards the end of this month, your CBA process should be approved and you can register to sit for an exam.
October
Take the FAR exam and start studying for REG (4-6 weeks depending on your employment status) Most Audit positions start in October.
Take REG exam and start studying for
AUD (4-6 weeks).
November
January-February
Take AUD exam. Start studying for BEC (4-6 weeks)
April (The following year)
Take the BEC exam. Congrats you are done!
Reminder: You cannot take CPA Exams during the months of March, June, September, and December
